Aamir Hussain is a Venture Partner in the Technology Practice of RIDGE-LANE LP. 

Aamir was Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for CenturyLink, one of the largest global enterprise communications, hosting, cloud, and IT services company in the world. 

He was responsible for overseeing CenturyLink's worldwide network, technology transformation, architecture and innovation roadmap, including Product Development, IT Operations, Cyber Engineering, Physical/Network Security and Global Cloud and Managed Services Development functions. 

He transformed the company's core network into a Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)-based environment. He was also instrumental in accelerating broadband enablement efforts through innovative solutions such as vectoring, bonding, GPON, G.fast, and wireless 5G deployments.

Aamir recently served as an independent board of director of Espial, and an advisor to venture capital funds, including: Mayfield, AMB capital, CxO fund.
