Lenny Schad is a Venture Partner in the Education Practice of RIDGE-LANE LP. 

Mr. Schad served as Chief Information Officer of Houston Independent School District (HISD), the seventh-largest school district in the US, where he managed information technology operations and a network infrastructure for 283 schools, more than 40,000 employees and 215,000 students.

Previously, he served as Chief Information Officer of Katy Independent School District (KISD), where he managed and leading technology departments for 70 schools, with more than 80,000 students

Mr. Schad has served on the board for CoSN and IMS Global.  He also conducts learning sessions for the Superintendent and Chief Academic Officer Summits and Academies, as well as the Future of Education Technology (FETC) conference.

Currently, as a Venture Partner in the Education Practice of RIDGE-LANE LP, he utilizes his experience of IT trends, as well as his robust network, to direct procurement strategy for leading education technology companies.
