Armando J. Olivera is an Venture Partner of RIDGE-LANE LP, where he advises clients within the firm’s Sustainability group.

Mr. Olivera served as Chief Executive Officer of Florida Power & Light Company.  Prior to, he was the President of NextEra Energy Capital Holdings Inc., a Senior Vice President of Power Systems of Florida Power & Light Co., the President and Chief Executive Officer of Miami Corporation, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Chicago Title Corporation.  

He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of Flour Corporation, Lennar, Consolidated Edison Company, First Industrial Realty Trust Inc., Harris Bank N.A and Harris Financial, AGL Resources Inc., Enterprise Florida Inc., and served as Lead Director of Florida Power & Light Company. 

He served on the Florida Governor's Action Team on Energy and Climate Change, tasked with developing a comprehensive strategy to achieve targets for statewide greenhouse gas reductions. He serves as a Member of Cornell University Engineering Council and Cornell University Council.  He served as President of Southeastern Electric Exchange and the immediate Chairman of the Florida Reliability Coordinating Council. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Miami.
