Brent Hoberman is a Board Member of the Société L’Avenir at RIDGE-LANE LP.

Mr. Hoberman is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Founders Factory, a corporate backed incubator/accelerator based in London. Founders Forum also has an innovation consultancy for top corporates, Founders Intelligence; and a recruitment company, Future Founders. It has launched SmartUp.io, a new business in gamified mobile learning for entrepreneurs, which he also co-founded and chairs. He also currently serves as the Chairman Karakuri.

Mr. Hoberman launched firstminute capital in 2017, a new $85m international venture capital fund with broad specification for the varieties of technology it will invest in, including; robotics, health, and cyber security. Prior to this venture, Mr. Hoberman also co-founded lastminute.com and served as the Chief Executive Officer, leading the company to profit and gross bookings of over $2bn before selling it for $1.1bn.

In addition, Mr. Hoberman sits on the UK Government Digital Advisory Board and The Economist Board, and is an Advisory Board member to the Oxford Foundry and LetterOne Technology, a $16bn investment fund. He is a Non-Executive Board Director of TalkTalk PLC, a YGL, and the Prime Minister's Business Trade Ambassador. He also serves as the Chairman and Co-Founder of made.com, a direct-from-factory consumer crowd-sourced homewares retailer in the UK, and co-founded PROfounders Capital. 

Mr. Hoberman was awarded a CBE in the 2015 New Year's Honor’s List. He studied at the University of Oxford.
