R. Brad Lane

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer


R. Brad Lane is the Chief Executive Officer of RIDGE-LANE LP and RIDGE-LANE Capital, where he leads the firm’s global strategy, management, investment and capital markets functions.

He founded Lane Financial Corporation, a multi-family office for high-net-worth individuals where he oversaw the firm’s wealth management platform as Chief Investment Officer and served as Managing Director of Atlas Capital, the $12 billion investment advisor, where he led the origination of private equity investments in Technology, Education, Healthcare, and was co-head of Capital Markets responsible for structuring follow-on financings of portfolio companies.

Mr. Lane is a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education, focused on neuroplasticity in human development utilizing learning sciences and technology design.  He served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a Lecturer at New York University, teaching a course entitled “Engineering Your Career (and Life)” with applied research in the future of work for the modern economy.

He advises ranking officials from the United States Departments of Defense (DoD), Homeland Security (DHS) and Education (ED) on private sector innovation and serves as a mentor to select portfolio companies of Techstars, Founders Factory and Y Combinator.

Mr. Lane serves or has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Mount Sinai Medical Center, The David Lynch Foundation, and as Chairman of the New York Forum. He is a Chartered Valuation Analyst, a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor, and a Distinguished Fellow of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness.
