Christine Harada is a Partner in the Sustainability Practice at RIDGE-LANE LP.
Ms. Harada was formerly the U.S. Federal Chief Sustainability Officer. In this capacity, she was responsible for promoting environmental and energy sustainability across Federal Government operations including 360,000 buildings, 650,000 vehicles, and $445 billion annually in purchased goods and services.
Previously she served as Chief of Staff at General Services Administration and Associate Administrator, Government-wide Policy and Chief Acquisition Officer for the GSA. Ms. Harada provided government-wide policies and guidance to enable the sustainable and efficient use of assets, effective acquisition leadership, identity management and sound information management.
Ms. Harada’s private sector experience includes serving as Global Manager, Transformation/Large Scale Change Practice at the Boston Consulting Group, a Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton, and as an international program manager and Lockheed Martin. She has over 20 years of success in leading government and management consulting organizations.
Ms. Harada was educated at the Wharton School and Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, where she holds both an MBA in Finance and an M.A. in International Studies at Stanford University. She also earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Masters of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
