Venture Partner, Sustainability
Jane Moncrief is a Venture Partner in the Sustainability Practice of RIDGE-LANE LP.
Ms. Moncrief has extensive experience holding key positions for the U.S. federal government, private companies and non-profit organizations. She most recently served the Obama Administration as Executive Officer of Operations for the Office of Response and Recovery within the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Ms. Moncrief has responded to many natural and man-made disasters including the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, Hurricane Katrina, Superstorm Sandy, the Joplin Tornadoes, and the Colorado Floods. She led collaborative planning efforts with stakeholders through multi-million dollar emergency management projects such as the Cascadia Subduction Zone and Massive Power Outage Incident Annex. She also developed strategic partnerships and shared best practices with international governments including the Mongolian National Emergency Management Agency.
Ms. Moncrief served in the Office of Conflict Management and Mitigation within the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and has continuously volunteered in efforts with the American Red Cross. Ms. Moncrief earned a Master of Science in International Politics from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communications from Louisiana State University. She is a certified project manage (CPM).
