Dr. Gary S. May is a Board Member of the Council on Higher Education of RIDGE-LANE LP.

Dr. May serves as Chancellor of the University of California - Davis, the most comprehensive campus in the UC System, with four colleges and six professional schools serving 39,000 students garnering $850 million per annuum for sponsored research.

He was Dean of the College of Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and served as Chair of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Board of Directors of the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities.
