Karen Robinson is a Board Member of the State CIO Council at RIDGE-LANE LP.

Ms. Robinson was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the State of Texas, and the Executive Director for the Texas Department of Information Resources, where she had statewide authority over information and communications technology planning, procurement, and service delivery.

She led an agency that managed information technology (IT) for more than 4,400 publicly-funded entities and operates the state’s IT Security, Communications Technology Services, Cooperative Contracts, Data Center Services, with an annual budget of $4 billion per year.

Ms. Robinson serves as Member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of State CIOs (NASCIO).
